Artisan Design Team Projects for December 2012 Part 1
December 27, 2012
Thanks for joining me today for the first of my Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team projects for December, 2012. Today, have a scrapbook project to share with you. These pictures are from a "Christmas past". I used a couple of favorite pictures of my family. We are all smiling, and all wearing coordinating colors. How often does that happen?! Also, I had seen a card with a cute banner made with peppermint images, so I had the idea to use the peppermint stamp from the Sweets for the Sweet clear mount stamp set and the candy cane stamp from the Scentsational Season Clear Mount Bundle to make a banner for this scrapbook page. I used the 1" circle punch on the peppermint, and the matching die to cut the candy cane out, and then used my sewing machine and white thread to stitch the images together. I also received the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper in my box this month as well as the Morning Post Alphabet Clear Mount stamp set, so I put those to good use.
Here is a close-up of some of the details. I used the Hostess set Mixed Medley from the Holiday Mini Catalog, the 1 1/4" Scalloped Circle Punch and the 3/4" Circle Punch.
I also used the Border Banter stamp set to make banners for the bottom of the page using the chevron and the merry stamps with Real Red and Cherry Cobbler ink. I cut them into banner shapes, and stitched them together.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you'll join me the next couple of days for the rest of my December projects. Tomorrow I will be featuring a set of cards.
