TGIFC210 - Color Challenge

Hello and welcome back! It's time for this week's TGIF Challenge, and this week we are featuring a pretty spring color combination of Pool Party, Petal Pink and Crumb Cake.

TGIFC210

I chose to use the Incredible Like You Photopolymer Stamp Set, which is a fun graphic floral set. I looked at it with this color combo in mind, and immediately saw Pool Party stripes as a background, and some stamped flowers and the greeting in circles as the focal point. I love it when a plan comes together! I used my Stamparatus to stamp the stripes, keeping the stamp in place and moving the paper down to complete the pattern. I stamped the two step flower in full strength Petal Pink ink. The great thing about these stamps, is that when stamped together the dark and light areas of the flower are magically created.

One of my other favorite parts of this card is where I stamped the greeting. I wanted a light shade of the same color, so I colored some Whisper White Cardstock with the Light Petal Pink Stampin' Blend and then stamped the greeting in Crumb Cake Ink. All the circles were die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. The greeting circle was layered with the stamped flower circle, and a piece of Petal Pink Cardstock embossed with the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and die cut with the smallest stitched circle.

To complete the card, the greeting was adhered with Stampin Dimensionals over some Linen Thread, and I added a trio of small Needlepoint Nook Mini Buttons.

Well, that is all for me today. But, please join us over at the TGIF Challenges Blog and share your colorful creation.
