Fancy Friday - Designer Series Paper Love

Hello and welcome back! It's time for this month's Fancy Friday Blog Hop. I'm here with my fancy friends (all current or former members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team). This month we are focusing on our love for Designer Series Paper, both papers that are retiring and those that are included in the upcoming 2019-2020 catalog. You'll love what you see tonight on our fancy blog hop. We also have a Pinterest board that you can follow. You might have just arrived from my beautiful friend Jennifer's Blog. She always shares such lovely creations!

I decided to highlight one of my favorite packs of paper, the Needlepoint Nook 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 Cm) Designer Series Paper. This paper started with real hand embroidery, which was photographed and turned into these patterned papers. One side has beautiful, multi-color images while the reverse side is cream color thread on solid colored fabric. For each card, I featured the backside pattern in a banner, along with a piece of solid color cardstock die cut with the two border dies from the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies.

The card bases are Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock, and each greeting is stamped in Tranquil Tide ink and die cut with a circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. The greetings are also adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Below each greeting, I added a vanilla button from the Needlepoint Nook Mini Buttons, and a bow of the Old Olive Linen Thread using Mini Glue Dots. I'll miss both of these embellishments too!

The greetings are from the Love What You Do Photopolymer Stamp Set, which will be available again in the new catalog.
