Ghosts of This Christmas Past

More Christmas Prep

Hello and welcome back! I've been doing some more Christmas prep. I made a fun set of tags last year with the Stitched Felt Embellishments, and you can find the details here. I still had more pieces of the felt left, so I just made more of each of the tag designs. This time I used the Real Red 1/8" Solid Ribbon for all of the tags, and added a circular element for the ribbon to tie through. I love how these turned out!

Because these were so fun to make, I decided to make a similar set of tags using a different set of embellishments, the Winter Wishes Stitched Felt Embellishments. I made the tag bases out of Smoky Slate Cardstock, and used different patterns from the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper. I used the Banner Triple Punch again to make both of the tag pieces.

I used the retired Stitched with Cheer Stamp Set for all of the greetings. For this tag, I stamped the banner and greeting in Black Memento Ink onto Thick Whisper White Cardstock, and die cut it out with the Bunch of Banners Thinlits. This was adhered to the green felt wreath, adhered over a Whisper White Cardstock circle die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. Some Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the circle and some Cherry Cobbler Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine complete the tag.

For the second tag, I stamped the greeting in Versamark Ink and heat embossed it in white to Basic Black Cardstock. I die cut the circle, and I added the mitten felt embellishment. I used the same cardstock and twine to complete the tag.

For the third tag, I stamped Thick Whisper White cardstock with the snowflake images in Balmy Blue, and die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I adhered the snowflake felt embellishment to the center, and then a Cherry Cobbler snowflake over the felt snowflake. The greeting is heat embossed in white on Basic Black Cardstock. A Cherry Cobbler circle and twine complete the tag.

And, for the last tag I heat embossed the greeting in white onto Basic Black cardstock, and die cut it with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I adhered the holly felt embellishment to this, and then completed the tag with the circle and twine. All of the greetings are adhered to the tags with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Well, that is all for today! Do you make Christmas tags throughout the year? I encourage you to get out those older Christmas embellishments and get a little early Christmas prep done now.
