Cake Soiree Cards!

Hello and welcome back! I'm sharing three cards that I made with the Cake Soiree Stamp Set and coordinating Sweet Cake Framelits Dies. These are in the main catalog this year, and I wanted to give them some love. I picked a nice, bright color combo to work with. If you've been to my blog before, you won't be surprised by that! The colors I used were Lovely Lipstick, Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Soft Sea Foam, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue and Call Me Clover.

I started with a few wonderful goodies from this Sale-a-Bration including the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets (for the cake plates, bows and die cut roses) and the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper. I used three of the fabulous black and white patterned papers to cover the card bases. I used Stampin' Blends to color the line-art images with.

This greeting is from the Well Said Cling Bundle. I also used some pink sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment.

For the solid stamped images, I sponged on multiple colors of ink including Poppy Parade and Lovely Lipstick for the cake and rose, and Soft Sea Foam and Call Me Clover for the leaves.

The rose and present were adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals, and the stamped image was mounted on Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. The greetings for the next two cards are from the Cake Soiree stamp set.

I think this may be my favorite card. The cake is inked in Mango Melody and sponged with Poppy Parade. The roses are die cut from the Lovely Lipstick Foil, and the solid leaves are die cut from Call Me Clover Cardstock.

There is so much shimmer and shine from the foil and sequins in person.

Well, that is all for today. Do you have a favorite set from the main catalog that needs some love?
