TGIFC188 - Anything But a Card

Hello and welcome back! I'm here with this week's TGIF Challenge, #188 featuring anything but a card! Earlier this month, most of the team was able to meet up in Orlando, Florida for the Stampin' Up On Stage event. At that event, we swapped several 3D projects with each other, and many of those will be featured today. You're in for a real treat!

I decided to make an ornament featuring the Dashing Deer Clear Mount Bundle of stamps and dies. This is such a beautiful bundle that it doesn't take much effort to create beautiful projects. I started with a scalloped circle die cut from Blushing Bride Cardstock, and topped it with a circle die cut from the Tranquil Tide patterned paper in the Frosted Floral Specialty papers. Next I cut the fancy deer from Champagne Foil Sheets, and adhered it to the ornament with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. I die cut three little flowers from the Blushing Bride Cardstock, painted them with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint, and then adhered them to the deer's neck. A pink sequin from the Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins to complete the deer.

The greeting was stamped on Mint Macaron Cardstock, and then die cut it with the perfect banner from the Takeout Thinlits Dies. It is also adhered with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.  To finish the ornament, I punched a hole in the top and threaded it with the Mint Macaron color from the Nature's Twine.

Well, that is all for me today. But, please be sure to head over to the TGIF Challenges blog to see all of this week's wonderful projects.
