Fancy Friday - Christmas-y Challenge
November 01, 2018
Hello and welcome back! It's time for this month's Fancy Friday Blog Hop. I'm here with my fancy friends (all current or former members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team). This month we are featuring anything Christmas-y! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks away in the US, and Christmas is right around the corner? You'll love what you see tonight on our fancy blog hop. We also have a Pinterest board that you can follow. You might have just arrived from Jenn's Blog. Did you see her great project?! I love her style.
So, today I have a set of Christmas tags. I used the Farmhouse Christmas Photopolymer Bundle of stamps and dies to create these. I stamped the main images in Black Memento Ink, and colored them with our Stampin' Blends markers. We have so many wonderful colors now, including the ones in the holiday catalog.
I stamped each greeting on Whisper White Cardstock, and then die cut them with the smallest rectangle die before adhering them. I highlighted the Christmas lights, wreaths and bows with the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush.
I used Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White Thick Cardstock for the card bases, and the pretty prints from the Festive Farmhouse 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper as a layer under each scene. And, each scene is mounted with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The pretty Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine completes each of the cards.
Isn't this truck the cutest! It comes with the Christmas tree already in the back, but you can add the cute wreath in the front.
I hope you enjoyed these fancy tags today. You'll want to click on the next button below to move onto Jeanna's great project!
