Fancy Friday - My Christmas Cards
November 29, 2018
Hello and welcome back! It's time for this month's Fancy Friday Blog Hop. I'm here with my fancy friends (all current or former members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team). Can you believe that Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is only weeks away? This month we are featuring our Christmas cards! You'll love what you see tonight on our fancy blog hop. We also have a Pinterest board that you can follow. You might have just arrived from Susan's blog. I just love her beautiful style!
I used the Alpine Adventure bundle of stamps and dies. I love the detail in these products. There are some terrific images of sleds, skis, snow shoes and little accents of holly, a wreath and jingle bells and bows to go with them. There are even three fun greetings! This bundle has everything you need for your Christmas cards.
I made a few of the same card, but with the second red print. Which is your favorite? I love the plaid one myself. I think I bought all of the paper packs I could that had plaid in them. Maybe it's my Scottish roots that make me love plaid so much?
I made a bonus card last night. I stamped the sled, presents and jingle bells and die cut them with the matching framelits. These were adhered to another shimmer spritzed piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I stamped the greeting in Night of Navy ink onto Real Red Cardstock along with the border image, and layered on the sled image. This was adhered with more Stampin' Dimensionals to the plaid layer on a Gray Granite card base. I piece of Night of Navy Medium Baker's Twine completed the card.
Here's a closeup of the card front. I also colored the red bow with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush for a little more shine.
Well, that is all for me today. But click on the button below to get to Jeanna and her fabulous project!
