TGIFC138 - Christmas Carol Theme

Hello there! It's time for another TGIF Challenge, this week with a timely theme of Christmas Carols! Stampin' Up! has terrific paper this year with this theme, and in trendy black and white.

I started with the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper, which is lightweight and comes 24 sheets to a package. It's great for layering and all kinds of other fun things.

Fancy Friday - Mixed Metallics Challenge

Hello and welcome back! It's time for the October Fancy Friday Blog Hop with my fancy friends (all current or former members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team)! This month we're featuring projects with a Mixed Metallics theme. You're in for a creative treat, so be sure to circle all the way around the hop. We also have a Pinterest board that you can follow. You might have just arrived from Jeanna's blog. I know you enjoyed her project!

So, I took the same design elements, and made 3 different cards with them. I started with a Smoky Slate Cardstock base, Shimmer White Cardstock rectangle that was die cut and backed with Silver Foil Paper, a row of diecuts from Champagne Foil Paper, another row of diecuts from Gold Glimmer Paper and small focal images stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in Copper. The greetings were stamped in Versamark, heat embossed in Copper and backed with Copper Metallic Thread. I also added some texture with the embossing paste on the front white layer.

TGIFC136 - Color Scheme

Hello and welcome back! It's time for a color challenge this week at the TGIF Challenges blog. It's a color combo that lends itself to holiday projects, so I created a set of Christmas tags.

Last week's challenge was about the ombre technique, so I decided to use that too. Did you see the projects last week? They were amazing, weren't they?
