TGIFC134 - Gratitude Theme
November 17, 2017
Hello and welcome back! It's time for the next TGIF Challenge, this time with the theme of Gratitude, just in time for Thanksgiving next week in the US!
I love how this card turned out! And, it really wasn't complicated. First, I stamped the solid leaves in Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze ink onto watercolor paper. Second, I spritzed the whole piece with water. Third, I stamped the outline leaf in Cherry Cobbler, while the paper was still wet. I was in a hurry, so I dried the piece with my heat tool, instead of letting it air dry. I stamped the greeting in Cherry Cobbler, stamping three times without re-inking.
To complete the card, I wrapped it with the 1/4" Copper Trim, and adhered it to a Crumb Cake card base. I die cut a leaf from the Copper Foil Sheets, and glued it down with the Fine Tip Glue. Last, I added some copper sequins from Metallics Sequin Assortment. Doesn't this make a pretty thank you for someone?
Well, that's all I have to share today. But, be sure to join us over at the TGIF Designer's Challenge site with your own gratitude inspired creation.
