Hello and welcome back! It's time for another TGIF Challenge, this time a sketch.
This is a fun one because it allowed me to make an interesting background for my sentiment. I colored a bit of Pool Party, Powder Pink and Smoky Slate inks in streaks across the watercolor paper with my Aqua Painter. After it dried, I stamped some snowflakes in Pool Party and Powder Pink inks. Then, I spritzed the whole piece with water, so the snowflakes and background blended together. For the accent in the corner, I die cut snowflakes out of Powder Pink, Pool Party and Silver Foil cardstocks. These were layered over some Silver Metallic Thread with pink sequins and rhinestones added.
The sentiment is stamped in Versamark, and heat embossed in Silver. The card base is Powder Pink Cardstock, and the water color is matted with Smoky Slate Cardstock. I love how this turned out! It was inspired by the colors I saw in the sky during my recent trip to the great white north.
Well, that is all for today. But, I hope you'll join us this week at TGIF Challenges, and share your creation based on our sketch.
