TGIFC128 - Color Challenge

Hello and welcome back! It's time for another TGIF Challenge, and this week is a beautiful color combo of Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry and Crumb Cake.

TGIFC128

These colors completely remind me of fall, so I decided to make some multi-color watercolor leaves with those colors. I took a piece of watercolor paper, spritzed it with water, used an Aqua Painter to add in some Cherry Cobbler and Crushed Curry inks and then sprayed with water again. So,  I had one medium sized piece of colored paper that I cut 9 leaves from: 3 large solid leaves, 3 small solid leaves and 3 outline leaves. I added a piece of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack to the front of a card base made from Thick Whisper White Cardstock.

I adhered the solid leaves to the card base with Snail adhesive, and then used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhered the outlined leaves. I also added a piece of Linen Thread along the left and some sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment as embellishments. I stamped the greeting in Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White Cardstock, punched it out with the Classic Label Punch and then adhered it to card with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Those things are so useful. You need some in your life!
