Fancy Friday - Painted Autumn Inspiration

Hello and welcome back! It's time for the October Fancy Friday Blog Hop with my fancy friends (all current or former members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team)! This month we're featuring projects inspired by the Painted Autumn suite of products. We could be inspired by the colors, the patterns, etc. You're in for a creative treat, so be sure to circle all the way around the hop. We also have a Pinterest board that you can follow. You might have just arrived from Erica's blog, my friend from Texas. Wasn't her project amazing?!

I started with two of the patterned papers from the Painted Autumn patterned papers, and used them for my color choices. I wasn't originally planning use the paper on the actual project, but I thought it added to the final project.

I started with cutting a rectangle from a card made from Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock. I backed that with a piece of Sahara Sand Cardstock, and stamped a greeting from the All Things Thanks Stamp Set in Early Espresso.

I stamped two sprigs in Garden Green and Lemon Lime Twist inks, and then used a blender pen to fill them in. I also die cut extra sprigs from Soft Sky Cardstock. These were all tucked into the edge of the Very Vanilla. I added the patterned paper frame, the clear portion of the White Perfect Accents and some Very Vanilla Solid Twine.

For this sample, I used Sahara Sand, Peekaboo Peach, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze inks to stamp the pumpkins and squash pieces, then die cut them. I also die cut some leaves and swirls from the Very Vanilla cardstock.

FF-Oct17-4

I used the same Perfect White Accents and Very Vanilla Solid Baker's Twine to complete this card.

Well, that is all for me today! But you'll want to move on to Cindy's Blog for more inspiration.
