OSAT Blog Hop - Throwback Thursday
September 14, 2017
Hello and welcome back! It's time for this month's One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop, and our theme this month is Throwback Thursday! Our assignment was to take a past project, and rework it with current stamps and products.
I decided to rework a card set that I shared in this post. Only, this time I'm using the Painted Harvest stamp set. I can't seem to get enough of these sunflowers lately!
I also stamped the small dot cluster in Versamark, and then heat embossed it in Copper. The greeting is stamped in Tangerine Tango, and some copper sequins and Lemon Lime Twist 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon complete the card.
I flipped the card from the original set upside down, so I could place the sunflowers on stems. I started with the three base sunflowers. Then, I stamped two more, cut them out and adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals. I actually used the bottom of dragonfly body from the Dragonfly Dreams Photopolymer Stamp Set for the stems. I had to stamp it twice for the longest stem.
For this card I used Peekaboo Peach 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and a piece of the Peekaboo Peach Baker's Twine to complete this card.
I love this last card, because it has some more "white space".
I used the Crushed Curry Solid Baker's Twine and more copper sequins to complete this one.
Here is the color combo I used.
Well, that is all for me today. But, please continue on the hop to Justin Krieger to see some more amazing projects!
