TGIFC110 - Color Challenge
June 02, 2017
Hello and welcome back! I'm back today with the next TGIF Challenge #110, a color challenge. Aren't these fun, bold colors to work with?
I pulled out a bundle that I haven't played with much yet, even though I've had it for a few months! Shame on me, I know. This is the Happy Celebrations Photopolymer Stamp Set which pairs with the Celebrations Duo Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. The fold actually debossed the word, so when you stamp over the top it highlights the word and leave it white. I used the small and large circle stamps in the set, and stamped Peekaboo Peach and Bermuda Bay inks both full strength and stamped off once. I framed the debossed piece in Basic Black cardstock on a Peekaboo Peach card base.
I stamped the "Good Times" greeting in Versamark, and then heat embossed in white. I die cut this with the banner from the Bunch Of Banners Framelits Dies, and adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals. Next, I glued on 3 black star sequins. (I just ordered the new metallic sequins today, so these stars are from last year's assortment.) Last, I wrapped Basic Black Baker's Twine around the debossed piece twice, and adhered it to the card base with more Stampin' Dimensionals.
Well, that is all for today. But, please join us over at TGIF Challenges this week with your colorful creation.
