OSAT Blog Hop -- All About Men

Hello and welcome back! It's time for this month's One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop, where it's all about the men. You'll see lots of projects for males of all ages, so make sure you circle all the way around the hop. You might have just arrived from Rick's blog, so welcome!

I ordered some new sets from the Stampin' Up catalog, but they were full of flowers, gemstones and other things that don't fit our theme! So, I chose to use the Happy Celebrations Photopolymer Stamp Set again, which made it into the new catalog from the Occasions Catalog.

I used the large rectangle to make a repeating triangle pattern. You can find the colors I used listed below. I first stamped the middle row of triangles from left to right, and then stamped rows going up and down the rectangle. This was matted with a piece of Dapper Denim Cardstock. Next, I stamped the greeting in Dapper Denim ink onto Vellum Cardstock, and wrapped that around the triangle background. The whole piece was adhered to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish it off, I added three of the Dapper Denim colored Glitter Enamel Dots. I think I can get away with some glitter on a masculine card, right?

I made my own Whisper White bag with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies. I stamped a 2" strip of Whisper White with triangles, and then punched the end with Banner Triple Punch. I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 1", and also punched it with the Banner Triple Punch. The greeting is stamped in Dapper Denim onto Vellum Cardstock, and the end punched as well. These three tags were layered together.

I wrapped Whisper White Baker's Twine around the tags twice and tied a bow. This was adhered to the front of the bag, and one more Dapper Denim Glitter Enamel Dots was the final touch.
