Vertical Garden Friendship Cards - Part 2

Hello and welcome back! I'm sneaking in just before the new Stampin' Up Catalog goes into effect to share two more cards using the Vertical Garden set.

I love the shadow look of this fun greeting set. The word "sunshine" is from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set. I used the retiring Sunburst Thinlits Die to cut some Peekaboo Peach cardstock for the rays, and placed the gold polka-dot Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate over the rays. The card base is Sahara Sand cardstock.

Cool Treats Suite Tutorial - Free!

Hello and welcome back! I'm here today to share a tutorial I created for the Cool Treats Suite of products. You have just two days left to order some of these items, but the stamp set and framelits dies used will be returning in the upcoming Stampin' Up 2017-2018 catalog!

I created 3 cards and a gift tag from this "cool" suite. I'll post some basic pictures of these projects, but if you want more close-ups and all of the details please download the FREE tutorial linked below.

Fancy Friday - 2017-2019 In-Color Challenge

Hello, and welcome back! It's time for another Fancy Friday Blog Hop with my fancy friends (all current or former members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team). You'll love all of the wonderful ideas you see on this hop, so be sure to circle all the way around. We also have a Pinterest board that you can follow. You might have just arrived from Cathy's blog, and I'm sure you loved her fun project!

This month, we are highlighting different color combinations using the 2017-2019 In Colors. I chose to use Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst. I took this color combo from the upcoming Designer Series Paper called Naturally Eclectic (less two of the colors). Also, for each project I used four of the five colors instead of all five together.

2017-2019 In Color Combo

These cards were all inspired by a card I made last week here. I used the same retiring stamp set for the greetings, called Double Take. I kept the focus on the greetings, and made a variety of watercolor backgrounds to highlight them with.

TGIFC108 - Sketch Challenge

Hello, and welcome back! I'm back today with the latest TGIF Challenges project. We have the wonderful sketch you see below to work with this week.

TGIFC108

I pulled out a retiring stamp set that I hadn't used yet, and some of the new In Colors for 2017-2019. Aren't those colors amazing? I love how rich and vibrant all of the new In Colors are.

Vertical Garden Friendship Cards

Hello and welcome back! Tonight I'm sharing a few more cards I made with the Vertical Garden stamp set. The set was designed to go with a kit, but it's also great on it's own. There are some big and bold greetings included in the set. Each greeting is two steps, the first is the main greeting and the second is a shadow image.

I made my card base using Basic Gray Cardstock. Then, I cut a layer of Smoky Slate word patterned paper and adhered it to the card front at an angle. I cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and sponged on Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, Old Olive and Bermuda Bay inks using a piece of Stampin' Sponge. I dropped some water on the background using my Aqua Painter, let it set for a minute and then blotted it up with a facial tissue. I love this water drop affect! I stamped the main greeting image in Basic Black ink, and stamped the shadow in Smoky Slate ink. I adhered that piece to the card base, also at an angle.

OSAT Blog Hop - Clean and Simple

Hello and welcome back! It's time for the May One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop, and our theme this month is "clean and simple". You might have just arrived from Jennifer Hill, and I know you enjoyed her amazing projects.

OSAT2017

I decided to make a set of cards today, and used the lovely Chase Your Dreams Stamp Set. The images of the buildings in this set are beautifully illustrated, so I thought they would be perfect suited for our clean and simple theme.
