OSAT Blog Hop - Flower Power

Hello, and welcome back! It's time for the April One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop. This month our theme is "flower power", so get ready to see bunches of pretty projects. (See what I did there?!)

I decided to use the Rose Wonder Photopolymer Stamp Set, but to use the smaller flower and the stem of leaves. I've made a card and a gift bag to share today.

I stamped the flowers in Melon Mambo and the stems in Old Olive onto Watercolor Paper. I watercolored them, adding more of those colors of ink to the outer edges. For the flowers, I also added some Crushed Curry ink to the centers and Bermuda Bay to the bases of the leaves. I stamped two more flowers in Rich Razzleberry, watercolored them with the purple and Crushed Curry for the center. I cut them out, and another piece of two leaves and the stem. These three were popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals, and adhered over the watercolored images.

I stamped the label in Crushed Curry, watercolored it and stamped the greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. It's die cut and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals. I made the gift bag with the Gift Bag Punch Board, tied some new Crushed Curry ribbon around the bag (it's a sneak peek from the new catalog!) and adhered the card with a Gold Binder Clip.

I made the card front the same way, and just changed out the greeting for a Happy Birthday. The card base is solid Melon Mambo Cardstock. I also layered the watercolor piece onto Crushed Curry striped paper.
