St. Patrick's Day Inspiration
March 18, 2017
Hello and welcome back! I'm sneaking in on St. Patrick's Day weekend to share a duo of green inspired cards. I saw this amazing St. Patrick's Day mantel with the lucky letters across it. I knew right away that I wanted to make a card using my retired Little Letters Alphabet Dies.
The background of the panel has a Pistachio Pudding watercolor wash and some Cucumber Crush speckles using my Aqua Painter. It's layered onto Cucumber Crush cardstock. This was adhered with dimensionals, and some Mint Macaron and gold ribbons are the finishing touch. You can see the shine and sparkle much better from this angle.
For this card, I cut the lucky from the same colors and cut it a second time from Gold Foil Sheets. I trimmed the lower portion from the gold, and glued them to the green letters. The word friend was cut from the Gold Foil Sheets also.
I really love that Labeler Alphabet. It's so easy to make whatever custom greeting you want or need.
Well, that is all for today. Thanks to all my friends out there who take the time to check out my creations and comment on my posts. I appreciate you!
