TGIFC96 - Designer Challenge
February 24, 2017
Hello and welcome back! I'm back this morning with the next TGIF Challenge 96. This week it's #96, a designer challenge with the talented Bibi Cameron as our inspiration!
I just loved her card trio that was highlighted in the graphic below, so I took my inspiration directly from that set.
I copied her lovely card layouts, but I used butterflies instead of flowers for my main images. I stamped the butterflies in Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Watermelon Wonder and Basic Gray.
This greeting is from the Suite Sentiments stamp set, and it's cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Both the butterfly and greeting are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The card bases are Whisper White Thick Cardstock, and this stamped piece is layered with Flirty Flamingo Cardstock. This greeting is from the Watercolor Wings Stamp Set.
For this card I used some Watermelon Wonder washi tape, a gold mini paper clip and a Vellum Cardstock butterfly die cut to complete the card. The butterfly was adhered with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
For my final card, I covered the background with the colorful butterflies. Since the background was busy, I kept the greeting more simple. The greeting is stamped in Basic Gray, and die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. The background is layered on Blushing Bride Cardstock.
The greeting is adhered with more Stampin' Dimensionals, and a piece of Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon was folded underneath.
Well, that is all for me today. But please head over to the TGIF Challenges website, check out the other designer's cards and play along with our challenge! Thanks for stopping by.
