International Blog Hop - Get Well Wishes

Hello and welcome back! We are being highlighted internationally by Kylie Bertucci and you are able to VOTE for my project. The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop, so please vote for my project. You can do that here. Our theme this month is Get Well Soon.

I decided to play around with a few of the new stamp sets I have from the Occasions 2017 catalog, both the Swan Lake Clear-Mount Stamp Set and the Sending Thoughts Clear-Mount Stamp Set. I stamped the lilypad and dragonfly images with Archival Basic Black Ink Pad on to Watercolor Paper, and then colored them with Aqua Painters and several ink pads. The blues are Tempting Turquoise and Island Ingido, and the other colors I used bits of are Garden Green, Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight, Sweet Sugarplum, Rich Razzleberry and Soft Suede. I adhered this to a piece of Soft Sky Cardstock, and then wrapped Old Olive Baker's Twine around the top and bottom, with a bow at the top. The card base is Thick Whisper White, but I covered it up with Wild Wasabi word patterned paper. The watercolor piece is adhered to this with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The greeting is stamped with Archival Basic Black Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock, and die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. I also die cut a piece of Sweet Sugarplum flower patterned paper with the coordinating scalloped square cardstock, to back the greeting with. The greeting piece was adhered to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

This greeting set has greetings in two parts, so I added the second part to the inside, using the same papers and dies as for the card front. I also included another piece of Soft Sky cardstock with a different lilypad image stamped in the Archival Basic Black ink. I've even got the envelope ready to go! I'm happy I'm keeping up with my new resolution to have the card insides and envelopes ready to go.

Well, that is all for me today. Make sure you head over to Kylie's blog to vote for my project. I would love to be chosen to do an international blog hop. You can check out the rest of the Blog Hop there, and even vote for my card! Thanks for stopping by today.
