Hello and welcome back! I've been having so much fun playing with water-color and hearts, that I just had to make a few more cards. These could be used as Valentine's cards, or even as friendship cards or encouragement cards.
I love this heart die from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies, cut here from Watermelon Wonder Cardstock. The "love" die cut is from the same die set, and cut from Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper. The rest of the greeting is from the coordinating Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set and is stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink onto a strip of Vellum Cardstock. The heart was adhered with the Fine Tip Glue Pen, and the vellum strip was secured on the back with the SNAIL adhesive after the "love" was adhered using the Find Tip Glue Pen. I also die cut the cute little hearts using a fun die from the Everyday Jars Framelits Dies. Here they are cut from Gold Foil Sheets, and adhered with the Fine Tip Glue Pen. Yeah, you might need one of those!
So, this is version two. The watercolor background is Watermelon Wonder, Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach. The heart is Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper, the "love" is from Gold Foil and the hearts are from Watermelon Wonder Cardstock.
For version three, the watercolor background is Watermelon Wonder, Blushing Bride and Peekaboo Peach. The heart is Gold Foil, the "love" is from Watermelon Wonder Cardstock and the hearts are from Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.
Since these are a non-standard size at 4" x 5", I also made coordinating envelopes with the Envelope Punch Board and the 2015-2017 and 2016-2018 In Color Envelope Paper collections. These just add to the bright, fun vibe of these cards, don't you think?
Well, that's all for today! Happy Valentines Day to all those who celebrate it! Thanks for stopping by today.
