Fancy Friday - Just Because

Hello and welcome back! It's time for another Fancy Friday Blog Hop with my fancy friends (all current or former members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team). You'll love all of the wonderful ideas you see on this hop, so be sure to circle all the way around. We also have a Pinterest board that you can follow. You might have just arrived from Jeanna's blog, and I'm sure she her project was very inspiring!

TGIFC90 - Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome back! Today I'm back with the next sketch challenge for the TGIF Challenge Blog. We're at challenge #90!

TGIFC90

I took a few liberties with the sketch, and moved my focal point away from the center a bit. Hopefully you can still see the resemblance to the sketch! I stamped rows of the plants from the Oh So Succulent Stamp Set using Mint Macaron, Old Olive and Bermuda Bay inks. Below this background, I added a strip of Bermuda Bay Cardstock and the Sweet Sugarplum ribbon from the Succulent Garden 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack.

OSAT Blog Hop - No Rules New Year

Hello and welcome back! Today I'm back with the One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop. Our theme this month is No Rules New Year. I decided to share some more of my samples from the Oh So Succulent stamp set from the new Stampin' Up Occasions catalog. This is so versatile!

I'll start with a Mother's Day card. It's never to early to start creating for upcoming occasions, right? I stamped the various plant images in Archival Basic Black ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock, and then watercolored them with Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum, Bermuda Bay, a little bit of Peekaboo Peach, Old Olive and Tip Top Taupe. Since some of the images are so small, it doesn't take very much ink to color them. I love the different color variations that watercolor gives though. The back 4 images were stamped onto a panel of Shimmery White Cardstock to add more depth. The card base is Mint Macaron and the layer for the flower panel is Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock.
