TGIFC86 - Let It Snow Theme
December 16, 2016
Hello and welcome back! I'm here today with the #TGIFC86 Challenge with a "Let It Snow" theme. I loved the colors of the inspiration image too, so I chose to use Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Pool Party and Real Red.
The tags were punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, with two tags layered together. The top tag is cut from Vellum Cardstock, and the greetings are stamped onto this layer using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The bottom tag is cut from Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper, and has Smoky Slate ink highlighted the embossed areas. I just placed the piece of DSP on top of my ink pad, and rubbed across it lightly with my finger. Don't smush it too much or the ink will get into the debossed areas.
I love these Mini Jingle Bells. They work perfectly with this set. I used four strands of twine to top each tag, two solid and two striped in Real Red and Basic Black.
All the greetings are from the Tin Of Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set, which is on sale right now!
Aren't all of these characters so cute with their little hats? Something needs to keep them warm during the cold winter that is arriving too soon.
Well, that is all for me for this post. Please join us at the TGIF Challenges Blog this week, and share your creation inspired by the image. We can't wait to see what you create! Thanks for stopping by.
