#TGIFC82 - Theme

Hello and welcome back! So, today I have some exciting news. I have joined the Design Team over at TGIF Challenges! There is a fabulous group of designers there, and I'm so excited to start working with them on a regular basis. I've participated in the past with as many challenges as I could fit into my schedule, as they have some really fun and unique challenges!

So, today's challenge is a theme / inspiration challenge. We started with this graphic.

I've been wanting to make some more cards using the Glamper Greetings Stamp Set, so this was the perfect time. And, I needed a birthday card, and this versatile stamp set includes a birthday greeting. Here is what I came up with. If you've ever been around my blog before, you'll know that I love watercolor and creating scenes, so this style of stamps is right up my ally. The colors I chose inspired by the graphic are Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Watermelon Wonder. I also inked the leaves image in a mix of the three colors, stamped it on and around the tree and then blended it with my Aqua Painters. I added a little Pear Pizzazz to the ground area and Soft Sky to the sky area.

I also added the balloon and banner images to go with the birthday theme. This set is so much fun! I highlighted the main scene with Basic Grey striped patterned paper and used Whisper White Baker's Twine as the only embellishment. The greeting is popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals too.

And, and I added another sentiment to the inside.

Well, that's all for me today. I hope you join us and share your own creation over at the TGIF Challenge Blog. We can't wait to see what you've made! Thanks for stopping by today.
