Hello and welcome back! It's time for another Fancy Friday Blog Hop with my fancy friends (all current or former members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team). You'll love all of the wonderful ideas you see on this hop, so be sure to circle all the way around. We also have a Pinterest board that you can follow. You might have just arrived from Krista's blog, and I'm sure she wowed you with her project.
This week we have a beautiful set of photos featuring holiday decor as our inspiration. I was inspired by the greenery, red plaid bows, chalkboard label and whitewashed wood. I can't wait to see what the other designers made this week as well!
I made the tag bases with the largest die in the Banners Framelits Dies set. The greetings are all stamped in Versamark Ink, and heat embossed in white. They are cut with the Tags & Labels Framelits Dies. The greetings are all from the Wrapped In Warmth Clear-Mount Stamp Set.
TIP: To get a "weathered" wood look, place the Hardwood Clear-Mount Stamp rubber side up, lightly sponge on some Crumb Cake Ink and stamp onto Whisper White Thick Cardstock.
I used the Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies and the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack to make the stocking. The cuff, heel and toe were cut from ivory wool felt and the small holly leaves from green felt. I used some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine and Kraft Rope Trim to complete the tags.
For the next tag, I die cut greenery from the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies from Garden Green and Wild Wasabi Cardstock. I die cut the bow from the same patterned paper stack as the stocking.
All the greetings are popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
For this tag, I used the Jolly Friends Photopolymer Bundle. The elf is stamped and hand cut. I stamped in Versamark and heat embossed the scarf and hat with clear embossing powder. I hand cut the scarf and punched out the hat body.
I punched the hat trim from Thick Whisper White cardstock, and then ran it through the Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The little red Mini Jingle Bell is the perfect touch.
I tied the mini jingle bell on with some red thread from the Metallic Thread Combo Pack. On the back to cover it up and add to the tag, I stamped the To From greeting on a small ticket shape and adhered it.
For this tag, I started with a wreath shape from Crumb Cake Cardstock using the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies and added some pine greenery cut from Garden Green and Wild Wasabi Cardstock.
The wreath holder and bow are part of the wreath die set, and cut from a pattern in the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack.
Well, that is all for me today. Next, you'll want to move on to Jeanna Bohanon and her fabulous project! Thanks for stopping by today.
