Artisan Design Team - Christmas is Coming!
November 02, 2016
Hello and welcome back! It's time for the next Artisan Design Team blog post, and it's an open week where we can use any of the products from our box this quarter. You're in for a treat because we have so much talent and so many different styles represented by these 20 women from around the globe. And on top of their talent, they are fun and fabulous as well. Please keep hopping through all 20 so you don't miss a thing! Be sure to use something like Google Translate for those blogs not in your native language. Also, you can find all of our projects for the year in one easy place, on our Pinterest board. You might have just arrived from Krista Frattin, and I know you loved her beautiful project as much as I did.
I chose to work with the Here's to Cheers Bundle including the Here's to Cheers Clear-Mount Stamp Set and the Cheerful Tags Framelits Dies. These products look so elegant, especially when adding some greenery from the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies.
Here I used half of a tag cut from the Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. The greeting is heat embossed in gold on Sahara Sand Cardstock, cut with the layering oval framelits and mounted on a Gold Foil scalloped oval. The greenery is cut from Wild Wasabi Cardstock and Garden Green Cardstock using the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies.
I used Whisper White 5/8" Organza Ribbon to tie the tag to the bag.
Next is a small box that I created using the Gift Box Punch Board and Kraft 12" X 12" Cardstock. I wrapped a strip of paper from the Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper, and added more greenery. This greeting is also from the Here's to Cheers Stamp Set, gold embossed and layered on Gold Foil Cardstock.
I used the gold thread from the Baker's Twine Trio Pack to complete the wrap on this box.
For the last box, I started with the White Gift Boxes. I wrapped another strip of paper from the Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper, and added more greenery as before.
This full tag was cut from Sahara Sand Cardstock, and the greeting was heat embossed in gold. I used Linen Thread to wrap the box and tie the tag on.
I stamped additionally inside in Memento Black Ink and added a Gold Foil die cut accent piece.
Here you can see a little better the beautiful texture of the Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper.
