Happy Halloween...just barely!
October 31, 2016
Hello and welcome back! So there are about five minutes left for me to wish everyone a Happy Halloween! Whenever the new Holiday / Winter catalog comes out from Stampin' Up!, I like to purchase the stamp sets and bundles that cover several different holidays. I don't make a lot of Halloween or Thanksgiving crafts, so I love to get multiple uses from a single stamp set or bundle including those two holidays. Tonight I'm sharing the Halloween projects I made with these items.
I used some Night of Navy striped patterned paper and Crushed Curry Baker's Twine to complete this card.
Next up is this cute home created with the Sweet Home bundle, including the Sweet Home Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Home Sweet Home Thinlits Dies. The dies make this cute little treat box that can be decorated for multiple holidays. Colors I used here are Basic Black, Basic Gray and Pumpkin Pie. I love the Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper for the door and window accents.
The dies cut the little bat, banner, door, door trim, windows, window trim and roof pieces. For the cobweb, I stamped it with Basic Gray on Vellum Cardstock, and hand cut it out. I used a Brights Enamel Shape in Pumpkin Pie for the door handle.
From this side you can see the ghost that I stamped in Basic Gray and die cut out. I taped him inside the house before I assembled it.
Well, from me to you, I hope you had a happy, safe and fun Halloween! Thanks for stopping by today.
