Artisan Design Team Blog Hop - Perfectly Artistic and New
June 01, 2016
Hello and welcome back! It's time for another Artisan Design Team blog hop. You're in for a treat because we have so much talent and so many different styles represented by these 20 women from around the globe. Please keep hopping through all 20 so you don't miss a thing! Be sure to use something like Google Translate for those blogs not in your native language. Also, you can find all of our projects for the year in one easy place, on our Pinterest board. You might have just arrived from Krista Frattin, and I know you loved her fresh designs as much as I did.
I'm so excited today because our Artisan Design Team has brand new goodies from the new catalog to share with you! We're featuring the Affectionately Yours suite of products including Designer Series Paper, Cardstock Pack and Washi Tape, the Love & Affection Stamp Set, and the Floral Affection Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I have a couple of simple cards, a box and a bag to share with you today.
The tag has a top punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. I used three of the washi tapes to decorate the tag. The greeting was embossed in Copper onto Crumb Cake Cardstock, and then the words cut apart.
For my first card, I stamped a loose wreath shape onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I made a slant cut, and then popped up the pieces over one of the patterned papers with Stampin' Dimensionals. The greeting is stamped onto the background.
The only embellishment I used is Linen Thread, to make a double bow.
For the second card, I dry embossed a piece of Mint Macaron Cardstock, and cut it apart down the middle. I adhered these over a strip of Whisper White Cardstock with Stampin' Dimensionals, and again added the greeting in the gap between the embossing. I colored the embossed flowers with a Night of Navy marker. The piece is also wrapped with Whisper White Baker's Twine.
The background of this card is one of the wonderful patterned papers with Copper Foil details, and the card base is Crumb Cake Cardstock.
Last today is a box made with the Gift Box Punch Board out of Crumb Cake Cardstock. I made a wrap of patterned paper (the polka-dot pattern), and then covered that with a piece of Mint Macaron Cardstock. In the center I added a square of Crumb Cake Cardstock, dry embossed.
I stamped the greeting in the middle in Watermelon Wonder. The flowers of the embossed pattern are colored with Watermelon Wonder and Flirty Flamingo markers, and the leaves with Mint Macaron. I used another double Linen Thread bow to complete the box.
Well, that's all for me today. You'll find the supplies listed below. Please click on the link to get to Michelle Long and her fabulous project! Thanks for stopping by today.
