Simple Cards with Shine On Paper Part 1
May 09, 2016
Hello and welcome back! I have two cards to share today featuring the Shine On Specialty Designer Series Paper. I decided to make a set of cards using this fun paper to make some small scenes. One other thing I did to the paper was to sponge it with the corresponding ink color, to cover a bit of the kraft background and give it more of a tone on tone look. The colors of ink used that match the paper are Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush and Bermuda Bay.
The background of this cards is So Saffron, and the small door is using the silver foil side of the Shine On patterned paper. The rest are the same sponged patterns as the first card. For the roof, I punched a 1 1/4" Square, and then cut it in half to get the triangle shape. The greeting is heat embossed in white onto black cardstock again. I used a layer of vellum cardstock under the square scene here as well.
Well, that is all for today. Please stop by tomorrow for two more cards using these same supplies. Thanks for stopping by!
