Fancy Friday - Never Enough Thanks
May 26, 2016
Hello and welcome back! I'm here today with my fancy friends (all current or former members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team) for our monthly blog hop. You'll love all of the wonderful ideas you see on this hop, so be sure to circle all the way around. We also have a Pinterest board that you can follow. You might have just arrived from the fabulous Cathy Caines.
These projects feature several items that are retiring soon, and a sneak peak at some of the new 2016-2018 In Colors that coordinate with them. This card set uses the colors of Pumpkin Pie and Peakaboo Peach. The watercolor panel of the thank you card is colored from Pumpkin Pie at the top to Peakaboo Peach at the bottom. You can also see the two colors stamped under the "for you" greeting on the treat bag. The stamp set used is a hostess set that is retiring called A Whole Lot of Lovely. The greeting is embossed in silver onto Vellum Cardstock, and layered over a pinked edge circle of the Crepe Filter Paper (also retiring).
This set uses Watermelon Wonder and Flirty Flamingo, another new 2016-2018 In Color. Some of my favorite things used here that are retiring are the Crepe Filter Paper, the Wood Clothespins, the 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon, the 1/4" Cotton Ribbons, the Everyday Chic Designer Washi Tape, and the Metallic Silver Baker's Twine.
This color combination is Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum. The silver "for you" is cut from Silver Foil Paper using a die that is part of the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies. The stamp set used for the painted look under this is the Work of Art Stamp Set. I also used the Brights and Subtles Designer Series Paper Stacks. I used the Triple Banner Punch to make the banners attached to the gift bag. These items are all returning in the new catalog.
Here is a close-up of the card front. Silver Metallic Thread and the Metallic Sequin Assortment are both returning as well. You can see from this angle the silver heat embossed greeting. So, there is lots of shimmer and shine to these projects.
Well, that is all for today. You'll want to stop by Jennifer Timko's blog next to continue on the hop. Be sure to make the full rounds so you don't miss a thing! The full supply list can be found below. Thanks for stopping by.
