Hello and welcome back! I'm back to play along with the Global Design Project #23 challenge with a theme of balloons.
I pulled out the Balloon Celebration stamp set for this card. I have so many ideas left for this stamp set, so you'll probably be seeing a few more times around here. And surprise, I did some watercoloring again, but this time it is the easy way! I inked up the Watercolor Wash background stamp set with Pool Party ink, spritzed it with water and then stamped it onto Shimmer White Cardstock. So simple, and it makes a lovely watercolor background! The balloons were stamped in Watermelon Wonder, and punched out with the matching punch. Some Basic Black Baker's Twine, black sequins and the Washi Label Punch for the greeting complete the front of this card.
I've been decorating the insides of my cards lately too. Again, this doesn't have to be complicated. I stamped the greeting balloon string, and added a simple stamped punched balloon to complete the inside. And, there's still lots of room to write a nice message to the recipient!
Well, that is all for today. You can find the supply list below. Thanks for stopping by!
