Christmas Card - Soft and Subtle
Playing Along With the All About Glitter Challenge

Can You Case It #98 - A Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome back! I'm here with another challenge from Can You Case It, this time featuring the sketch below. It's a card and a tag in one!

I started with a Crumb Cake card base, and added some of the music paper from the Home For Christmas Designer Series Paper. I covered it with a piece of Vellum Cardstock, just to separate it a little more from the tag and greeting. The poinsettia is also from a piece of the Home For Christmas DSP, and I cut 3 of them, with progressively smaller pieces and adhered them together with Stampin' Dimensionals to make a 3D type of flower. I also added a piece of the washi tape on the bottom of the Very Vanilla tag, and finished it with Cherry Cobbler Thick Baker's Twine.

Here you can see the dimension in the flower better.

The greeting is colored with Real Red, Delightful Dijon and Mossy Meadow and then stamped onto Very Vanilla Cardstock. The banner piece was colored in Mossy Meadow, stamped on the same color of cardstock, trimmed out and adhered with more Stampin' Dimensionals. It's layered on a piece of Real Red Cardstock die cut with the scallop circle from the Circle Card Thinlits Dies, and the edged sponged with Cherry Cobbler ink. A yellow star button completes the card.

Well, that is all for today! I hope you'll join us at Can You Case It, and share a project with your interpretation of our sketch. Thanks for stopping by!
