Christmas Card - Clean and Simple
November 28, 2015
Hello and welcome back! So, I took another class (Online Card Classes Holiday Style). It was all about creating cards in different styles. For some reason when I take these classes, it always turns out to be a really busy time and I can't always participate in real time. So, I have been creating cards in the illustrated styles after the fact. Today's card represents the clean and simple style.
I used the Jingle All The Way Bundle from Stampin' Up! I started by stamping the small star cluster in Versamark Ink on a piece of watercolor paper, and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next I watercolored the piece with Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry and Rose Red ink pads using my Aquapainters. This was mounted to a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock and to a Smoky Slate card base.
To complete the card, I added a piece of thick white cardstock die-cut with the house image. The greeting is stamped in Versmark and heat embossed in silver. This piece was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals to the card base. I added a few flat and curved silver sequins to complete the card.
Well, that is all for today. Tomorrow, I'll have the next style of Christmas card to share, classic and elegant. Thanks for stopping by!
