Can You Case It #96 - A Sketch Challenge

Hello, and welcome back! I'm here today with another Can You Case It challenge, this time using a sketch. Below is the sketch for this week.

Here is my card for the week. I may or may not have taken some liberties with the sketch this week. But hey...it's meant to be a jumping off point for our creativity, right? Well, I jumped off! I love how this turned out thought. I used the Among the Branches Photopolymer Stamp Set. The images are all simple pieces by themselves, but they make something special when all together. For the leaves, I stamped them in Whisper White Craft Ink first, and then stamped over them in Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango and Watermelon Wonder. If you repeat this process, make sure to clean your stamp between every time of stamping the colored leaves so you don't transfer any white craft ink to your other pads (or wait for it to completely dry!). I love the effect, and it almost gives it a 3D appearance.

To finish the card, I trimmed part of the greeting from the full circle image, and adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals over some Crushed Curry Baker's Twine and some Brights Candy Dots. I also sponged around the edge of the main panel with some Crumb Cake Classic Ink.

Well, that is all for today. I hope you'll join us at Can You Case It this week with your take on our sketch. Thanks for stopping by!
