Playing along with TGIFC14 Remix Challenge
August 05, 2015
Hello and welcome back! Today I'm here sharing a card I made for the TGIFC #14 challenge, a remix of their 4 most recent challenges. I chose the "Brand New" and the "Clean and Simple" challenges to use. I think I'm pushing the boundaries of clean and simple, but I have it on good authority that the judging panel isn't too strict. ;-)
So, here is my card for this week. I used the brand new Garden In Bloom Photopolymer Stamp Set from the 2015-16 Stampin' Up catalog. Instead of using the flower filler stamps, I used the stamps from the Gorgeous Grunge Clear-Mount Stamp Set to add color to the flowers and a little extra green.
I split the main panel, popped it up on a piece of Watermelon Wonder cardstock, heat embossed the greeting in white, added black thread and some Copic colored rhinestones to complete the card. I really like how it turned out!
Well, that is all for today. I'll have more to share later this week. Thanks for stopping by!
