Can You Case It #82 - Sketch Challenge
August 16, 2015
Hello and welcome back! I'm here today with another Can You Case It Sketch Challenge.
For my background, I sponged Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi, overlapping each color a bit. Then, I die-cut the "thanks", heat embossed it in clear, and glued it back into the background piece. I think this is called an inlay die-cut technique. It's hard to catch the shine of embossing in this photo, but it looks nice in real life.
I finished it off with the rest of the sentiment, some punched flowers (from some more Melon Mambo sponged cardstock) and a few rhinestones. Pretty simple, but I love how it turned out.
Well, it's a short and sweet post from me today. I hope you'll join us over at Can You Case It with your own creation inspired by our sketch. Thanks for stopping by!
