Playing Along with TGIFC06 Watercolor Challenge

Hello and welcome back! Today I'm playing along with the Watercolor challenge over at TGIF Challenges Blog.

Tgifc06

This card was inspired by a card I saved to Pinterest found here. I wanted to include the light watercolor background, the die cut flowers and the border along the left side of the card. My watercolor background was made with Daffodil Delight and Pool Party inks smooshed onto a clear stamping block, spritzed with water and applied to a piece of Shimmer White cardstock. Each of the flower stamps was inked, spritzed with water and then stamped onto Shimmer White Cardstock. After that, I die cut each image, and traced around the outside edge with the Project Life Journaling Pen in the .01 size. Love how these all turned out.

A piece of Basic Black patterned paper from the Neutrals Paper Stack forms the border on the left edge. The greeting was white embossed on a piece of Basic Black Cardstock. A few Basic Black Candy Dots complete the card. Two of the flowers are popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals, and the greeting is popped up with two layers of dimensionals.
