Happy Easter and welcome back! Today I have a floral Easter card to share featuring the color combination of Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Basic Black from the Can You Case It #64 challenge.
Here's my card. I stamped the flower image and greeting in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto our Vellum Cardstock. Then, I colored in the images on the back of the vellum with Stampin' Write Markers (dye ink), and was able to do some blending as it doesn't dry right away on the vellum. In addition to the Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding, I used some Calypso Coral and Wild Wasabi to add some shading and also Crumb Cake and Baked Brown Sugar for the stem.
I added a layer of Shimmer White Cardstock under the vellum, and added a punched banner of patterned paper, Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Baker's Twine to the upper corner along with a staple.
The card base is Pistachio Pudding, and I randomly stamped another greeting in Pistachio Pudding ink as a background.
I even decorated the inside! Now I just need to make an envelope to match.
Well, that's all for today! I wish you a blessed Easter, and hope you enjoy the remainder of the holiday weekend.
