Valentine's Decor 1
February 10, 2015
Hello and welcome back! This week I have some Valentine's decorations to share. I had this idea in my head as soon as I saw this hearts embossing folder. I embossed a piece of watercolor paper, and kept the raised heart outlines on top. Next, I used the aquabrush to wet the inside of the hearts, then dipped it into different ink colors (using the lid to pick up ink) and then colored inside the hearts. I used Real Red, Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Crumb Cake and Gold Smooch Spritz. I made three diagonal stripes of each color, and worked from darkest to lightest also. I matted it with Real Red Cardstock.
This whole piece is mounted on Kraft Cardsock that I dry embossed with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This piece is going onto my mantle, and I'll have more pictures to share later this week.
Well that's all for today. Thanks for stopping by, and come back tomorrow for some additional Valentine's decor samples.
