Hello there! I have another "foxy" themed card using the Life in the Forest stamp set for you today. I thought it would be fun to create a little scene with this set. I also wanted to try embossing onto Crumb Cake Cardstock, and coloring in with markers. I love how it turned out! To start I drew a curved line with a pencil, then stamped and embossed the trees. Next, I drew over the line with a Versamarker skipping the trees and embossed that line. I cut around the trees and the hill with a craft knife. I adhered that piece to a Pool Party card. I did the same thing with the fox and the mouse. This layer was adhered to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I also stamped and cut out an extra mouse body, and popped that up with Stampin' Dimensionals too.
To finish, I stamped a greeting from the Just Saying stamp set and coordinating Word Bubbles dies, and adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added some Calypso Coral Baker's Twine too. So, do you think the fox is looking at the mouse with a friendly "hey there", or is he eyeing his next meal? I think it could go either way!
Well, that is all for today. Next I have a "card in a box" to share using the Backyard Basics and Hardwood stamp sets. It will also be the start of another "Try It" series using the crepe filter paper. Can't wait to show you the card! Thanks for stopping by.
