Simple Valentines with Sweet Sayings Cards and Envelopes 3

Happy Valentine's Day! I have one last batch of cards using the Sweet Sayings Cards to share today. This was such a fun set of pre-printed cards to work with. I liked everything I made with them! This set features some die-cut shapes made with my e-cutter and the Candy Conversations Stamp Brush Set from My Digital Studio. I'll be creating another video to share this weekend about how I converted the shapes from MDS into cutable shapes.

So, for this card, I converted the XOXO candy heart to a die cut image, and cut it from Real Red Cardstock. I backed it with a strip of Pool Party polka-dot patterned paper from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack. To make the banner end, I punched each side with the Hexagon Punch. Each piece was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

 

I think is my favorite of this bunch. I cut the Love You heart using my e-cutter from Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock, and layered it over a Real Red Cardstock heart cut with the scalloped heart from the Hearts A Flutter Framelits Dies. The little Real Red hearts are from the Small Heart Punch that comes with MDS, and I cut them with my e-cutter as well. A strip of Pool Party chevron patterned paper with a banner edge finishes off this card.

 

This time I cut the #1 Fan candy heart from Pool Party Cardstock, and layered it over a circle of Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock with a pierced edge. I cut two Real Red Designer Series Paper banners from the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper. I thought it would be fun to make this embellishment look like an award because of the #1 Fan reference.
