My First Undefined Stamp Creation
SU Convention Swap 2

SU Convention Swap 1

Hello, and welcome back! Today I have one of my Stampin' Up! Convention 2013 swaps to share. I participated in one organized swap that was for 20 full cards, using all new sets. I got some beautiful cards in return. Here was my card using the new set Notable Notions. I also featured the new Etcetera Designer Series Paper. Love both of these! I used a lot of details on this card. The base card is Crumb Cake, and I stamped the writing in three of the corners. I made a string of three banners from piecs of the patterned paper, and I also tore and roughed up the lower edges of the banners and strung them on Linen Thread.

Here is a close-up of the tag. It's stamped in Night of Navy and diecut with the Chalk Talk Framelits. The top has a piece of Natural Trim Ribbon tied with more Linen Thread. One button is stamped in Old Olive and punched with 1/2" Circle punch. The second button is from the Subtles Designer Buttons. The third and largest button is using the Simply Pressed Clay and the Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds. I left the clay natural and colored it after it was dry.

Tip #1: When you fill the molds with clay, place them in the freezer for 30 minutes. Then pop out the buttons or flowers, and let them air dry for 24 hours. Freezing makes them much easier to get out of the mold. But, don't handle them too much or they will stick to your hands or each other. After this, you can color them with our markers and glue them to your project with Tombow Multi-Purpose Adhesive.

For the image below, I stamped the greeting in Old Olive Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock, and then punched it out with a circle punch. I also used a larger circle punch on the Vanilla Coaster Board and then sponged the edges with ink. A lot of the other edges on the layers are sponged also.

Well, that is all for today! Please see the complete supply list below. I'll share my other swap card tomorrow, including a short video on how to cut MDS shapes with an e-cutter. Thanks for stopping by!
