Artisan Wednesday Wow - Apr4

Welcome back! I'm so glad you could join the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team for our next April Blog Hop! You might have just arrived from Jeanna’s blog. If not, go back and check out her amazing project!

For this project, I pulled out the Oh, Whale set to make a thank you card. I got the idea to make a little scene for him to swim around in, and to have it be layered. I used the Ovals Collections Framelits Dies to make the layers with.

The background is watercolor paper, embossed with the Cloudy Day Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and watercolored around the clouds with Bashful Blue ink and splattered it with Marina Mist ink.

 

I also used the Sunshine and Sprinkles Designer Series Paper for the top two layers. I rolled the Oh, Wave! Stampin' Around Jumbo Wheel with Bashful Blue ink onto Vellum Cardstock for the water. The whale is popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals so that it is even with the second layer.
