Artisan Wednesday Wow - Apr3

Welcome back! I'm so glad you could join the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team for our next April Blog Hop! You might have just arrived from Jeanna’s blog. If not, go back and check out her adorable project!

I decided to keep it more simple today. I'm taking some time off of work, and have been down in my basement going through my huge craft stash, and scaling down. So, I needed something I could complete quickly, and figured that might come in handy for you as well! It's a set of tags that would be great to add to a shower gift or a thinking of you item.

I started with Daffofil Delight Cardstock, and used the adorable yellow chevron pattern from the Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper. I'd like 5 pieces of that paper please! I also used a strip of the cloud pattern paper. The umbrella is from the Rain or Shine Stamp Set as well as the greeting. This is the first project I have used the Marina Mist 3/8" Striped Organdy Ribbon on, and I really like it. You'll probably be seeing it again!

 

This tag uses the Baby Shower sentament and Melon Mambo Cardstock and pattern paper. The greetings are stamped in Basic Grey ink on Vellum Cardstock, and attached with the Silver Mini Brads. It also features two pieces of the the Old Olive 3/8" Striped Organdy Ribbon attached with a regular staple.

And, last but not least, a tag for a Bridal Shower. This one used Marina Mist Cardstock and the cloud patterned paper and Melon Mambo 3/8" Striped Organdy Ribbon. Also, to highlight the focal point image, I paper pierced around the Oval using the Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack.

Here is a close-up so you can see the greeting a little better. They don't look so light in real life! I think this is my favorite tag of the three.
