Sale-A-Bration, Patterned Occasions Bonus

Welcome back to my blog! I made a couple of extra projects with the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets, so I'll share those for the next couple of days. I also have a few more Sale-A-Bration samples that I made for the SU Leadership Conference that you haven't seen. So, lots of good things in store for you!

I stamped the smarty pants image from the Patterned Occasions set on a piece of canvas with Island Indigo ink, stitched around it and then frayed the edges a bit. It is also layered on Island Indigo cardstock.

Then, I punched some of the papers from the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (also a Sale-A-Bration choice) using the Postage Stamp Punch, layered them on another pattern and stitched them down with my sewing machine. You can see the details a little better in the picture below.

Well, that is all for today! I hope you are making time to be creative. Thanks for stopping by!

Artisan Wednesday Wow - Mar2

Artisan Blog Logos-Main

Welcome back to my blog! March is marching on. Haha, I crack myself up! This week the Stampin’ Up Artisan Design Team is featuring another round of new projects. You might have just arrived from Jeanna’s blog. If not, go back and look at her wonderful project!

Today I have a set of cards to share. After I made the first card, I just kept going! I thought it would be fun to use the same layout, and just change the sentiment and accent pieces for each different card. So, it really didn't take too long to make the 5 cards. Also, I used the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper, because I thought the gray prints would be great for the elephant images. The card size is 5 1/4" x 5 1/4", and the white layer is 4" x 4" which is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I used mostly the 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon in various colors along the left for the tabs, stitched over them with my sewing machine and added buttons over the stitching. Above I colored the white ribbon with my Pink Pirouette marker.

This was actually the first card in the series that I made! I used the 1/2" Seam Binding for this one, and stamped the santa hat on the red patterned paper.

Aren't the little birdies below so cute! I really had fun with this set.

Ok, last one. Henry says it's time for a party.

Sale-A-Bration, Bloomin' Marvelous Part 3

Welcome back to my blog! I've got a 3d project to share today using the Sale-a-Bration set Bloomin' Marvleous. This is a really cute set. Love the images and the fonts used for the greetings. I made a layered flower with the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper, and a Vintage Brad for the center. I attached the flower to a cone made from Pool Party Card Stock, and added some of the Pool Party ribbon from the Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button Pack.

I stamped the greeting on a label, and attached it with White Baker's Twine to the brad. I also stamped the small butterfly image, adding some color to the wings with a marker before stamping, and trimmed it out. I added pearls and adhered it to the flower with a Mini Glue Dot. This flower would be cute on a gift bag as well!

Well, that is all for today. Tomorrow I have one more new project up my sleeve using Bloomin' Marvelous, so I hope you'll join me then. Thanks for stopping by!

Sale-A-Bration, Bloomin' Marvelous Part 2

Welcome back to my blog! Today I have another project using the Sale-a-Bration set Bloomin' Marvelous to show you. I love this little flower! I colored it with Island Indigo and Summer Starfruit markers, stamped and punched them out with a 1" circle punch. They are layered on top of 1 1/4" squares punched from the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper. Some of the flowers are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I made the grid for the design with my sewing machine.

I stamped the greeting with Versamark, and heat embossed it with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. I trimmed it into a banner shape, and traced around the edge with a Signo White Gel Pen.

And, that's all for today! I have 2 more projects planned, so come back for some more Bloomin' Marvelous goodness. Thanks for stopping by!

Sale-A-Bration, Bloomin' Marvelous Part 1

Welcome back to my blog! For the next few days I'll be sharing some more Sale-a-Bration projects using the stamp set Bloomin' Marvelous. I'm going to start with the scrapbook page I made using this set. I was really happy with how this project turned out. I used the little stem on the Old Olive background, and used the Woodgrain wheel from the Holiday Mini on the Crumb Cake layer.

For the scene I created, I stamped the flower that I colored with Daffodil Delight and Real Red markers multiple times, some without reinking and added stems with an Old Olive marker. I also sponged some Old Olive ink at the bottom of the scene. To complete it, I stamped the greeting in Early Espresso, and colored with markes and trimmed out the humminbird which was added over the flowers.

For my pictures, I layered them on Whisper White cardstock with sponged edges in Crumb Cake ink so they would look like Polaroid pictures. I added some layers of patterned paper, some Linen Thread and stamped the butterfly for the last accent piece.

Well, that is all for today. I have 3 more days of Bloomin' Marvelous projects lined up, incluidng one new project that hasn't been featured anywhere yet. Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome back to my blog! Wow, where did February go? This week the Stampin’ Up Artisan Design Team is featuring our February Facebook Projects for our blog hop. You might have just arrived from Jeanna’s blog. If not, go back and look at her wonderful project!

I love the Lemonade Stand Digital Disc that is a free option with purchase during Sale-A-Bration! The patterns are clean and modern, and the embellishments are hip and clever. All you need is My Digital Studio and the Lemonade Stand Digital Disc to recreate this page. Or, if you are looking for a quick way to get some projects done, there are a ton of really cute templates ready for your pictures and cards for many occasions that are also included on the disc. Don’t miss out on these great designs! It can be yours for free with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration. Contact me if you would like to get this disc before March 22 when Sale-a-Bration ends.

I made lots of circles, and added the different patterned papers into them. I also added a thin, gray outline to each circle and also added dropped shadows to most of the elements. Love the realistic paper flower that was also included in this kit!

Well, that is all for today. You will find the supplies listed below. I’ll have some more Sale-A-Bration samples to share with you later this week. You’ll want to join us again next Wednesday as we feature another hop with all new projects! And, don’t forget to click to get to Sarah’s Blog for the next stop on the hop.
