Welcome back our last Artisan Design Team Blog Hop for March! You might have just arrived from Jeanna’s blog. If not, go back and check out her great project!
I decided to create a scrapbook page with pictures from a previous trip to Ireland in honor of St. Patrick's Day, and because I thought the Print Poetry Designer Paper Stack would work well for a travel page. Also, I wanted to use the That's the Ticket stamp set and matching Ticket Duo Punch. I like this set more and more as I use it! I used MDS to create the journaling and title because I wanted to use a font that looked "celtic" to match the Ireland theme. Plus, I knew I had a lot of journaling, and I can fit more when I type than when I write it out by hand.
Here are a couple of close-up shots of the page.I added some buttons, a flower and one of the Cute Clips with Stitched Satin Ribbon tied to it.
On the opposite side, I used the smaller ticket on the Ticket Duo Punch to add a space for the date.
I also used the Borders Scoring Plate Simply Scored to add some stitching lines above and below the main design of the page. I want to try using this on some card edges soon as well. It's a fun tool!
Well, that is all for today. You will find the supplies listed below. Please stop by in the next few days as I will have some Easter themed projects to share. Also, you’ll want to join us again next Wednesday as we feature another hop with new projects! And, don’t forget to click to get to Sarah’s Blog for the next stop on the hop. You won’t want to miss her amazing project. Thanks for stopping by!
