Fun with Googlies Part 1
October 17, 2012
My friend Janie came over for a stamping day on World Card Making Day. I made a few Artisan Design Team projects with my October supplies that I'll feature here on my blog next week. But, I had some more time to make a few Halloween cards using the stamp set Googly Ghouls.
I had pinned this card as inspiration for a card layout.

I liked the varied banners across the top along with the baker's twine wrapper around.
So, here is what I came up with. I stamped a few images just in Stazon Jet Black ink from Googly Ghouls, and then completed the cards. I think this may be my favorite one. Still loving the Howlstooth and Scaringbone Designer Series Paper. I also stamped the chevron image from Border Banter on the First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper. I keep stamping on it; it's addicting! And, the Googlies eyes are fun to use too. On the vanilla background, I stamped rows of the circle border image from Border Banter in Crumb Cake, stamping off once first. I hope you enjoy this card. Thanks for visiting!
