Stampin' Up Convention 2012 - Make and Take Projects

I have a few more things to share about the Stampin' Up Convention 2012 this past July. They always give us several interesting make and take projects to complete. This year, I decided to take the projects home, and assemble them there. I was a little too excited to focus on completing them at Convention! So, this worked great for me this year. So, without further ado, here are the creations.

This was a cute pocket using the new Natural Composition Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Affection Collection stamp set that we received for free. The rose is made from new fabric and has a punched flower as the base.

The flower was pretty easy to make! It is just a strip of trimmed fabric, and then we attached some sticky strip to one edge and one side of the flower. To begin, just gather the fabric every 1/4" or so and pinch it as you turn the flower. For the second half, gather the fabric about every 1/2" or so and pinch to the flower. Here is another view. I'm thinking I might need a vase full of these for my craft room!

Next up is a card made with the You're Amazing stamp that we received. Those little tickets were a lot of work, but very cute all strung up together on linen thread!

Here is a card made with the Affection Collection stamp set. I really love this design. Whoever created this design really used the stamp set well. It's going to be hard to top this one!

The next project was a cute kraft box with a set of mini cards inside using the Daydream Medallions set that we also received. Here is the box with a handmade bow from our card stock.

And, here is the set of mini cards. I love the paper flowers we made with the Basic Rhinestones and Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons in the centers.

And last, but not least is an interactive scrapbook page using one of the new 12x12 Divided Page Protectors. I have to select some photos to add to finish this project out!

So, that's it for this post! Tomorrow I'll share the cards from the Artisan Design Team Finalists swap that I did at Convention, and later another post with a couple more pictures from Convention and the "loot" I brought home! Have a great Saturday.
