Friend to Friend last posted card to share with you that I had submitted for Paper Crafts Go To Sketches Volume 2 that wasn't picked up. I have some other "rejects" to come, and some scrapbook pages and hybrid projects. I have been creating a lot, but haven't posted. I'm making up for lost time! This was a fun opportunity to use some little embellishments and punches. This was for the last sketch, #84. I think I'll try this again with a black frame with the circle openings cut out. I can create that on my Silhouette. I hope you enjoy it and thanks for visiting!

Stamps: Stampin' Up Teeny Tiny Wishes, Itty Bitty Bits
Ink: Stampin' Up Classic Apricot Appeal, Tattered Angels Creme de Chocolat Glimmer Mist, Blue Skies Glimmer Mist, Stampin' Up Classic Early Espresso
Paper: Basic Grey White Basics, Stampin' Up Apricot Appeal, My Mind's Eye Bohemia Paper, Stampin' Up Whisper White, My Mind's Eye Tres Jolie

I have been working on my project picture taking skills, and this one was a challenge. The background was white, and there was shimmer spray as well over the background. Plus, the colors of the accents were bold, so they seemd to shift a little. Anyway, in real life this is a pretty card. And, I got to use the embossing butterflies die from Stampin' Up! One more point for myself for using tools for the first time. Enjoy the project and thanks for visiting.

Sew Glad We're Friends

This is yet another card that I had submitted for Paper Crafts Go To Sketches Volume 2 that wasn't picked up. I was so inspired by the sketches. I had lots of ideas swirling around in my head, and I had time to execute several of them. I love it when a plan comes together! Anyway, this card was for sketch #27. I wanted it to be "punny", so I left of the "so" portion of the original greeting and stamped in "sew" with red ink and a mini alphabet set. I like how this turned out! Love the ruler stamp also. Will be using that again in the future. Enjoy the project, and thanks for visiting!

Happy We're Friends

Here is another card that was submitted for the Paper Crafts Go To Sketches Volume 2, but not picked up. This one was for sketch #23. I really liked this doggie set from Stampin' Up. It is retired now, but I think it is still available in digital form. The top dog stamp on the card looks a lot like my dog Monty! So fun. I used it on a scrapbook page about him a year ago. Anyway, hope you enjoy the card and thanks for visiting!

You Made My Day

Here is another Go To Sketches Volume 2 reject. This was for sketch #16. I think the only thing I would change about this card is to stitch the butterfly trails in colored thread or try to color the stitches with markers after the fact. I think it would have made them stand out a little more. Anyway, I always liked this curved word set from Stampin' Up, so was glad to be able to use it as well as some fabric and the butterfly die. This was for sketch #16. Can't wait for this issue to come out! I hope you enjoy this card, and thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday Sweet Friend

Well, it has been awhile since I have posted. I submitted 10 projects for Stampin' Up's Artisan Award, so that was a big project. They are notifying people this week, so maybe I'll have some good news on that front soon! I also have submitted for several of the Paper Crafts different calls. I still have a couple of cards to share that weren't picked up for the PC Go To Sketches Volume 2. I did have one card be accepted for submission, so I'll be able to share that one after the publication comes out. I'll be sharing the remainder of the "rejects" over the next few days, and then share some other "rejects" after that.

This was for sketch #57. I think the only thing I would change is to make the greeting a little more prominent. But, I really like how the birdies look paper-pieced and also the pretty floral paper. It's from the Stampin' Up main catalog. See below for all of the details! Thanks for visiting...
